I know from chattting to some of you in class how many people have been using the blog to help their learning and to have a bit of fun.

You might not have noticed that there is a comments function on the blog.... it would be really great if you felt that you wanted to leave a comment; tell me what you like, what you don't like and what you would like to see on the blog. If you have found a great French website, or some new games, let me know! Leave a comment and other people can use them too!

Just remember that when you leave a comment, to be safe, please only leave first names or nicknames, not surnames.

These are great little games and match up tasks that check how well you have remembered what we have done in class. They will help you to brush up on what we have already learnt, and you might even find some new words!

Welcome back to a new term at school.

Over the next few weeks and months, you will find new things here that will help you with what we are learning in school at the moment. They might be the same as we used in class, or they might be new and exciting additions.

To start you off, here is a little song to remind you of all the main greetings in French. How many can you write down without looking at the video?

Are you having one of those days where French just seems to be IMPOSSIBLE? Well, we all have them. I do, your parent's did, French people do... even Joey from Friends did.

Watch this, and think "gosh, I can do SO much better than that! Yay! I can speak French..."

Here's a little video for you all to help you remember how to use etre in the passe compose (yes, there should be accents here, and if you can tell me how to put them on, that would be useful!)

Qui sont conjugués avec le verbe être.
Maintenant je vais dire ces verbes en infinitif,
Ecoutez bien et n’oubliez pas :

Sortir, partir, retourner, rentrer, entrer, monter, tomber,
Aller, arriver, passer.

Maintenant tu sais tous les verbes,
Qui se conjugue avec être.
N’oublie pas les verbes réfléchis,
