Welcome back to a new term at school.

Over the next few weeks and months, you will find new things here that will help you with what we are learning in school at the moment. They might be the same as we used in class, or they might be new and exciting additions.

To start you off, here is a little song to remind you of all the main greetings in French. How many can you write down without looking at the video?

Here's a little video for you all to help you remember how to use etre in the passe compose (yes, there should be accents here, and if you can tell me how to put them on, that would be useful!)

Il y a dix-sept verbes, seulement dix-sept verbes.
Et c’est très important de savoir ces verbes
Si tu vas en France, ou au Canada.

Tombé, né, mort.

Ca c’est le passé composé, avec Mrs Vandertramp

Ecouter, voilà les dix-sept verbes,
Qui sont conjugués avec le verbe être.
Maintenant je vais dire ces verbes en infinitif,
Ecoutez bien et n’oubliez pas :

Ils sont naître, descendre, mourir, venir, revenir, devenir,
Sortir, partir, retourner, rentrer, entrer, monter, tomber,
Aller, arriver, passer.

Maintenant tu sais tous les verbes,
Qui se conjugue avec être.
N’oublie pas les verbes réfléchis,
Qui sont avec être aussi.
